50th Anniversary Reunion
A thank you from our Chairman
I should like to thank all of you who came to the 50th Anniversary of the Kings Langley School Outdoor Education Centre Reunion. It was quite emotional for me to meet so many old friends and former KLS students and to hear your stories of how the ‘Farmhouse’ influenced your lives and careers. I also know that it was a great opportunity for you to catch up with many old school friends and I am sure the conversations you had on the day were buzzing about in your brain for days afterwards.
On behalf of the charitable trust that administers and looks after the farmhouse, I must thank you for the generous donations you made which will enable us to move forward over the next 50 years. I am informed that we raised a sum in the order of £3,000.
Most of our funding comes from lettings and I can only ask you to make use of the farmhouse which already is used by quite a few past Kings Langley students. This is a great opportunity for you to introduce your own children to the great outdoors, to have a family reunion or just a weekend away from it all. Please remember, if you book the farmhouse it is all yours, no one else will be there!
Once again, many
thanks and here’s to the next 50!
